Be EXTRA safe today.
Our plan is to be ready to go for a round of late morning/early afternoon storm activity in the central Texas Panhandle, then drop south toward Lubbock/Big Spring (the I-20 corridor) and await late afternoon and evening storms. If all goes to plan, we should be able to get on at least 3 different storms during this High Risk, dangerous day.
In addition to the severe weather threat, major flooding is also a concern for some. This system is dangerous… do not wait to the last minute to prepare. You should already have a plan and know what to do if severe weather or flooding occurs.
