Chasecation 2015 Day 6 – Multiple tornadoes near Canadian, Texas

Aside from terrain issues, it was a very good day for chasing tornadoes as a cyclic supercell dropped multiple twisters near Canadian, TX. There were likely 3 or 4 tornadoes in all, including a large cone tornado that very rapidly developed and lasted for several minutes.



We all have a lot of stuff to go through, including my video of all of the tornadoes we saw today. I will try to get a clip of the main tornado out sometime tomorrow.

Aside from the obvious giant cone tornado, the smaller funnels/tornadoes were pretty nice, too. This was the first one the storm put down, before the main cone tornado:
