It took a while, but a legitimate big tornado day finally showed its hand in 2015.
Numerous tornadoes have been reported across Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma and into Texas. Based on current tornado report numbers, it seems likely this will go down as the largest tornado outbreak in the Plains since April 2012 (videos from that event).
