Chasecation 2014 Day 7 – Cows and Storms in New Mexico

Cows approach us as a storm to the north sucks in dirt and dust, May 22, 2014.

Yesterday we traveled down eastern New Mexico with low expectations for storms. After stopping in Logan for lunch, we went southwest towards a slow-moving hailer and saw some fun outflow clouds. After that storm, we dropped south toward Clovis and watched another storm along the way. Called it an early day in Clovis and got some laundry done.

I finished my video from the Denver area storm from May 21:

Today we drop even further south in eastern New Mexico in hopes that we can catch an isolated storm or two for some imagery.
