A while back we shared our top 10 surveillance videos of tornadoes. Though many videos of tornadoes circulate these days after almost every tornado event, a large percentage come from storm chasers or those not necessarily at potential great risk as the storm passes. These videos, some of the most intense I’ve come across, are all from the point of view of someone whose life is possibly fully in the path of these dangerous twisters.
A number of these videos contain strong language. Please let us know if we missed any!

November 12, 2005 – F2 near Woodward, Iowa
April 27, 2011 – EF-4 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama
Note: There are a number of great home videos from this outbreak, including others like this and this.
March 2, 2012 – EF-4 near Henryville, Indiana
May 8, 2008 – EF-2 near Lawrence, Kansas
March 13, 1990 – F5 near Hesston, Kansas

June 16, 1992 – F5 near Chandler, Minnesota
June 1, 2011 – EF-3 near Monson, Massachusetts
April 2, 2006 – F3 near Caruthersville, Missouri
Note: Text is annoying but footage is intense particularly after minute 4.

Submitted by Twitter friends…
