Tornado Weekly: May 13-19, 2012

This was largely another quiet week when it comes to what might be expected in May with tornadoes across the United States. However, what could be the beginning of a pattern realignment brought several tornadoes to Kansas on Saturday.

Tornadoes were reported in seven states over the period, with 25 of those reports coming in Kansas on the 19th. At least four tornadoes caused those 25 reports. Not quite a tornado outbreak, but a hefty event for the local area, including one EF-3 tornado.
