Tornado Weekly: March 25-31, 2012

Map of the week's tornado reports to SPC. Image compiled by Mark Ellinwood.

The week of March 25 was one full of minor tornado threats, but very little in the way of eventual tornado activity across the United States. The two reports go down as the 2nd lowest for any week in the month of March 2012, with the week following the March 2-3 tornado outbreak having none.

Even with little in the way of confirmed tornadic activity, several days of chasing opportunities presented themselves for central U.S. chasers, and some tornado warnings were issued for populated locations.
